The Oh So Amazing Pacific Northwest!

Let me just say this first, "Stupid weather!"

It's the end of the month...it's Adam's birthday...and it's still snowing!

I enjoy a beautiful snowy mountain just like anyone else. I do not however enjoy a snowy icy drive around town. This weather is driving me nuts! Waking up this morning I was almost giddy thinking it was just going to rain all day. Of course when I took a look out the blinds I was just a little bit pissy when I saw snow flakes. Good thing I got a good nights sleep, otherwise people would not enjoy being around me this morning.

On the other side of the coin today, I'm in a pretty good mood. I got a good nights sleep and am ready for what the day holds. Coffee in hand and a full battery on my phone. What else could a girl ask for? Besides a hand full of chocolate candy? :)

So here I go to start my day.

I constantly wonder what it is I'm going to do everyday...one thing is always for sure. I am going to chase Brayden around the house laughing and loving every minute of it. The second thing that is for sure...I will miss my husband like there is a hole in my heart everyday. The third is that I will look up in the sky and wonder if at that very minute Adam is looking up and thinking about me.

Have you ever seen a kid throw his sock around and then chase after it...I have and it made me laugh so hard I cried. Love that little guy!

the joys

Lets talk about how much an hour means to me. It means sanity, it means relaxation, it means that I can take a break and breath. So on to how I feel like I’m not going to get that hour today. First…Brayden will not take a nap longer than 15 minutes and that has only happened ONCE so far since 7:30 this morning. Second…I was super happy to have the husband home at one thinking I could escape for an hour in the bath…as it happens they are short on guys so he was picked as the guy to do Staff Duty tonight. So here I am trying to get Brayden to nap for an hour…oh what that hour would mean to me. So if anyone sees a crazy woman driving around aimlessly with a baby in the back seat finally sleeping…it might just be me if he doesn’t take a nap soon!!!! I believe this is when i slap myself on the hand for saying that teething has been easy so far…because that’s the biggest reason why he isn’t sleeping!!!

The anticipation is killing me!

It's Tuesday night...

take the trash out...
take the dog out...
change a diaper...
feed a baby...
start a load of laundry...
keep thinking about the husband coming home...
realize that your excited for the husband to be home...
so you can get some sleep...
think about making some dinner...
still thinking about the dinner...
maybe it will magically make itself...
ok is it tomorrow yet?


only 20 hours HOPEFULLY until the husband come home from training!!!

Oh what a day!

So...as most know today is Veterans Day...of course my brain didn't register this. So, I got up prepared myself and son for a long day of errands...drove all the way to the military base to do some paperwork...and then my brain registered, "Hey today is Veterans Day you stupid idiot! You can't get anything done today without the help of all those people that have the day off!" Well now don't I feel pretty damn stupid. Well, lets turn back around and go home then...what a fanfuckingtastic day!!!!
